Our teachers are certified with a CDA, A.A. and/or B.A. We also have certified VPK teachers. Our low student to teacher ratio with leave with a peace of mind that your child will be in a safe and positive enviornment. We provide a qualty care education to children. We believe that children learn best through actively engaging with people and things in thier enviornment. Children are involved in hands-on experiences, real-life adventures, and assisted discovery as they expore concepts through play.

 

 

     We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers and directors! Our staff is part of the consistent care provided by Greater Horizons Academy.

 

     All of Greater Horizons Academy personnel are required to follow state regulations that apply to training. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Fire Safety, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations to provide the staff with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and College classes, they are also given opportunities to attend professional training conferences.
